Open House – August 28th!

It’s that time of year. Summer is ramping down, school supplies are being purchased, and kids are getting ready to go back to school! On Thursday, August 28th, the  annual CPES Open House will begin at 2:00pm and end at 3:00pm. (If you’re new to the school, new students can come at 1:30pm for additional information.) Open House gives the students the chance to see their classrooms and meet their teachers for the upcoming school year. Parents can do the same, as well as join the PTA!  If you are wrapping up your summer on vacation or just can’t make it to the school that day, the Classroom Lists will be posted on the CPES website at 4:00pm on Wednesday, August 27th.  Looking forward to a GREAT new school year!

CPES Giving Tree – wrapped gifts to office by week of Dec. 9th, and thank you!

Dear CPES Friends and Families,

One of my favorite activities at Cunningham Park each year is the Giving Tree Program. It’s so amazing how generous our families are to contribute gifts for families at CPES who may otherwise not have gifts for their children during the holidays. Stop by the school lobby and pick an apple from the tree (on the wall outside of the cafeteria) and help make some students’ holidays special this year!

Wrapped gifts should be placed in the office during the week of December 9th. Thanks to all who participate this year!!

Laura
